Hey Reader, I have some exciting news. We just launched Kit MCP which connects your favorite AI tools directly to your Kit account. If you haven't come across MCP before, it's basically a bridge that lets AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and others take action inside software. So instead of drafting something and having to copy and paste from your AI into other tools, your AI can do that for you automatically. Tag subscribers in Kit, create sequences, and draft and send broadcasts—all this from inside the conversation you're already in. Just to give you an idea of the kinds of things this makes possible… A couple weeks ago, I shared that I was looking for beta readers for my new book, The Ladders of Wealth. I had 65 people sign up through some beta reading software. The service had no export option, so I hit CMD+A, copied all of the readers listed on the page, and pasted into Claude. I asked it to clean up the names and emails into a usable list, add everyone to Kit, and create and apply a tag. Then I asked it to write a quick email telling them to read the book that weekend. It drafted one, I confirmed the draft, and it sent. The whole thing happened inside a single Claude conversation. We ran a closed beta for the Kit MCP before today's launch, and the use cases creators found in just a few weeks are a great preview of what's possible:
What makes Kit's MCP particularly capable is just how much of the platform it can reach. We've spent the last 2.5 years building out the API so it can do almost everything in Kit: create and update sequences, manage subscribers and tags, pull purchase data, and draft and schedule broadcasts. Other email platforms that have released MCPs let you ask questions about your data, but you still have to go back and do things with those insights manually. Kit's MCP handles both in the same conversation. These few ideas are just the start. People in the beta were building things in their first sessions that would have taken hours to set up manually. It's really exciting. You can try it out today: Learn more about the Kit MCP » Pick one workflow you repeat every week and see if you can automate it. Once you see the possibilities, you’ll quickly find other ideas. PODCASTHow to Build a Million Dollar Creator Business (Masterclass)How do you actually break through $1M as a creator? Grant Baldwin sold tens of millions through The Speaker Lab. Bryan Harris scaled Growth Tools past $2M helping coaches grow their businesses. They're the first repeat duo I've had on the show, and this conversation gets into the lessons they learned along the way and what changed for both of them. We get into why focus and elimination is where most of the growth comes from, how positioning your offer around acute pain is more effective than most sales and marketing tactics, and why tracking customer outcomes changes everything. Whether that's a potential sponsor or a future collaborator, they likely already subscribed, but you just don't know they're there yet. Tomorrow, on May 20th, I'm joining Chris Donnelly for Lead Generation Live, a free 3-hour event. My session starts at 10:30am EDT, and I'm calling it: $10,000 Opportunities Hiding in Your Email List Here's what I'll cover:

Most email platform MCPs let you read your data. Kit's MCP lets you act on it too. Ask questions about your subscribers, sequences, and email performance, then tag subscribers, build sequences, draft broadcasts, and pull purchase data without leaving the conversation. —Nathan P.S. Hey Reader, When I meet two people at the same stage of building their business, I can usually tell within the first few minutes which one is going places. A friend of mine recently opened a Peruvian restaurant. It's fast casual, similar to Chipotle, and from the very first conversation it was clear he was building this business to franchise. He knew that before the doors had even opened. That's different from someone opening a single great restaurant that they hope does well. Both are fine...
Hey Reader, I just hit an exciting milestone: I passed my instrument rating test. If you're not a pilot, the instrument rating is what lets you fly in clouds and low visibility. Which is great because now I don’t have to wait for clear skies. Having this rating ultimately means I’m able to fly more safely, since I can rely on my instruments even in situations where I can’t see, but it also affords me more freedom. It felt great to have it done, as I've been working toward this for a while,...
Hey Reader, In the last 10 years, Kit has paid $9.8 million in profit sharing to our team. I wanted to share the full breakdown of how our compensation model works—and why we built it this way. A few things that might surprise you: 52% of company profit goes directly to the team We pay the same salary regardless of where you live We pay salaries at the 80th percentile of national averages We run fully open books so everyone can calculate their own profit sharing It's a bit too long to share...
