Hey Reader, Last week, I teased we had a huge announcement coming. On Thursday, I finally came clean: we’re setting a new direction for ConvertKit that includes:
...oh, and we’re wrapping all of this up in a new rebrand. ConvertKit is becoming KitConvertKit as a name focuses on the technical thing we help you do. But the brand we’ve built is really about:
Kit checks all those boxes and gives us a great starting point for building a new brand. It allows us to stay connected to our 11+ years of experience serving creators. Learn more at Kit.com. But we’re also doing something unique: Rather than hiding the process, we’re rebranding in public. In the coming months, we’re releasing an entire documentary series that takes you behind the scenes of our rebrand process. You’ll see the thought and decisions behind everything. Watch Episode 1 of the Rebranding in public documentary series now: But really it’s that we are building the operating system for creators who mean business. We do so much more than help creators convert. We help them connect, grow, launch, send, create, automate, and earn. It’s time to grow the brand to encompass all of that. Six months ago, we were lucky enough to acquire Kit.com for a great price (which unfortunately I can’t disclose). More recently, we bought Kit.co and all of their related assets. That gave us everything we needed to upgrade to this new brand. PollsAnother great new feature we added is Polls. You can now create polls directly from the email editor. Engage with subscribers and learn more to better segment your list & increase click through rate. Try it out by telling me what you think in this poll:
There’s so much fun stuff coming: Read the full announcement here » But there’s also one more big thing I want to talk about. Before I get to that, a quick note from our sponsor:
These features and a new brand have been on my dream list for so long. But there’s one more thing I’ve always wanted to do but never had the chance—until now… Kit StudiosWe launched podcast and video studio for all customers to use for free. This is a brand new podcast studio in downtown Boise, Idaho. It’s five studios all with a unique look. Three are set up for in-person podcast interviews, two are for recording courses or remote podcasts. Creating high-quality content is so hard—especially in a home studio. Now, creators can walk in and, with the press of a button, record high-quality footage for whatever they need. I knew Kit Studios was a novel idea, but I didn’t realize just how strong the reaction would be. Creators are saying they’d fly across the country to use this since it’s cheaper (including hotel, flights, etc) and higher quality than hiring their own film crew. What do you think?Let’s wrap this up with one more poll:
After you vote in the polls, hit reply to let me know what you think. I’m so excited to build Kit with you over the next decade! Have a great week! —Nathan |

Hey Reader, Last week, a customer reached out to let us know they were pretty unhappy. Kit has over 100,000 active users who are quite happy with the platform, so this one stood out. When we pulled up their account and checked the numbers, we saw they were getting four times the results they'd had before switching to Kit. But they told us they felt sold, not served. What they said clearly spoke to their experience. I'm grateful they didn't cancel their account and move to a different...
Hey Reader, I have some exciting news. We just launched Kit MCP which connects your favorite AI tools directly to your Kit account. If you haven't come across MCP before, it's basically a bridge that lets AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and others take action inside software. So instead of drafting something and having to copy and paste from your AI into other tools, your AI can do that for you automatically. Tag subscribers in Kit, create sequences, and draft and send...
Hey Reader, When I meet two people at the same stage of building their business, I can usually tell within the first few minutes which one is going places. A friend of mine recently opened a Peruvian restaurant. It's fast casual, similar to Chipotle, and from the very first conversation it was clear he was building this business to franchise. He knew that before the doors had even opened. That's different from someone opening a single great restaurant that they hope does well. Both are fine...
