Hey Reader, Last week, I teased we had a huge announcement coming. On Thursday, I finally came clean: we’re setting a new direction for ConvertKit that includes:
...oh, and we’re wrapping all of this up in a new rebrand. ConvertKit is becoming KitConvertKit as a name focuses on the technical thing we help you do. But the brand we’ve built is really about:
Kit checks all those boxes and gives us a great starting point for building a new brand. It allows us to stay connected to our 11+ years of experience serving creators. Learn more at Kit.com. But we’re also doing something unique: Rather than hiding the process, we’re rebranding in public. In the coming months, we’re releasing an entire documentary series that takes you behind the scenes of our rebrand process. You’ll see the thought and decisions behind everything. Watch Episode 1 of the Rebranding in public documentary series now: But really it’s that we are building the operating system for creators who mean business. We do so much more than help creators convert. We help them connect, grow, launch, send, create, automate, and earn. It’s time to grow the brand to encompass all of that. Six months ago, we were lucky enough to acquire Kit.com for a great price (which unfortunately I can’t disclose). More recently, we bought Kit.co and all of their related assets. That gave us everything we needed to upgrade to this new brand. PollsAnother great new feature we added is Polls. You can now create polls directly from the email editor. There’s so much fun stuff coming: Read the full announcement here » But there’s also one more big thing I want to talk about. Before I get to that, a quick note from our sponsor:
These features and a new brand have been on my dream list for so long. But there’s one more thing I’ve always wanted to do but never had the chance—until now… Kit StudiosWe launched podcast and video studio for all customers to use for free. This is a brand new podcast studio in downtown Boise, Idaho. It’s five studios all with a unique look. Three are set up for in-person podcast interviews, two are for recording courses or remote podcasts. Creating high-quality content is so hard—especially in a home studio. Now, creators can walk in and, with the press of a button, record high-quality footage for whatever they need. I knew Kit Studios was a novel idea, but I didn’t realize just how strong the reaction would be. Creators are saying they’d fly across the country to use this since it’s cheaper (including hotel, flights, etc) and higher quality than hiring their own film crew. What do you think?Let’s wrap this up with one more poll:
After you vote in the polls, hit reply to let me know what you think. I’m so excited to build Kit with you over the next decade! Have a great week! —Nathan |

Hey Reader, One winter morning when I was twelve, I sat at the kitchen table eating cereal, staring out the window at the largest snowflakes I'd ever seen. Every other kid in Boise was sledding. I was homeschooled, which meant no snow days. My mom spoke up: "You know, Nathan, school doesn't have to take a set amount of time. The sooner you complete your work, the sooner you can go sledding." Two hours later I was on the hill. That morning I understood something I carried with me for years. I...
Hey Reader, A lot of the rules we built our work habits around made sense before AI. Some of them held up for decades. Right now, in early 2026, I think it's worth asking which ones still do. Here are five things I think are worth throwing out: 1. Detailed mid-level planning Knowing where you're going is still important. But the master plan that used to live between the destination and the work itself is mostly just a way to delay starting. Before, mapping out how all the systems connect just...
Hey Reader, If I say something dumb, I'm probably still replaying it in my head 11 years later. Just me? It’s an exhausting feeling. You're not really solving anything, you're just reliving the moment over and over. And when you're building a business, there's always something new to add to the pile. After a while, it gets hard to tell which things actually need your attention and which ones you've just been dragging around. Start by writing everything down. When a worry stays in your head,...
