We've sold $458,000 in sponsorships

A few people in my DMs were asking how the ConvertKit Sponsor Network is going, so here's a quick update: in the 3 full months since we launched the we've sold $458,000 in sponsorships. You can see the breakdown by month here:
It's currently being run by a team of 7 amazing humans: Armando as the overall manager, Renee in charge of business operations and payments, four brand sales representatives, and an assistant.
A few details about it:
- We're representing 80 creators and are onboarding another large batch as soon as next week.
- The investing and business niches continue to have the most demand from sponsors.
- At the moment we have far more creators (600+) on the waitlist than we have demand from brands. That's why scaling our sales team and landing more brands is our biggest priority. Once we have more brands we'll bring on more creators.
- We started very lightweight with systems to prove the model and now we are building out software for approving brands, managing schedules, and similar features.
- We've made it so easy for brands to buy across many newsletters. One brand placed a sponsorship across 40+ newsletters with the same effort it would normally take to work with one creator.
And finally, the demand from creators is off the charts. It's transformational for your ability to earn a living as a creator. I'm blown away that we're about to cross $500k in bookings for creators in just a couple months.
