Hey Reader, At our recent team retreat in Mexico, we did something we’ve never done before: Create Week. Create Week gave us space to explore new ideas, solve pressing problems, and innovate in ways that our usual day-to-day work doesn't allow. 14 teams focused on projects and experiments they wanted to bring to life within the Kit ecosystem. My team focused on two goals:
In just 10-15 hours of working time one of our team members built a tag manager and another built an agency dashboard for Kit creators who manage multiple accounts. Then we made a video of our presentation to showcase our journey (it's a fun video, you should watch it here). Then we made tutorials documenting the entire process so you can build your own apps: Learn to Develop Kit Apps with AI These are just a few basic examples, but so much is possible now for anyone. That’s why our team at Create Week put together some educational videos on how to develop Kit apps using AI. Something else that’s cool… Nat Eliason actually loved the videos so much, he told me he’s including them as a module inside his Build Your Own Apps with AI course. It’s a really exciting time to be a creator. The limitations have never been lower, and all you really need is a good idea. We believe the platform you choose to run your business should be extensible and not a walled garden. It should power your ideas, not limit them. Kit is the operating system for your creator business because it does just that. PODCASTHow to Build a $100,000 Personal Brand (In Just 90 Days)Today, Darrell Vesterfelt is back on the show to explore why personal brand might be the most overlooked asset for early-stage founders. For instance, founder-led marketing is an amazing way to recruit talent. We talk about a lot, but a few highlights of things we cover are:

Hey Reader, Tell me if this resonates: You're working harder than ever, and your team is busy, but growth has slowed. The reason for this tends to come down to focus. As companies grow, they tend to start focusing too much internally instead of externally. Jason Lemkin, one of the top SaaS growth experts, noticed this pattern with founders. Whenever they don't know what to do next, he tells them to start with the basics: First: talk to your customers. Not surveys or data dashboards. Actual...
Hey Reader, The hardest decisions you have to make are rarely between good and bad options. They usually feel like choosing between two good options. When I was talking with my coach, Dan, about everything I’m trying to balance, he told me to imagine myself 10 years in the future. He asked: which one would I regret most if I didn’t accomplish it? I thought I’d say growing Kit to $100M. But the answer surprised me: publishing my book. If Kit hit $100M and I never published another book, I’d be...
Hey Reader, I keep picking up this book just to feel the cover. Paul Millerd sent me the new hardcover edition of The Pathless Path. When you run your hands over the cloth cover, you can feel the illustration pressed into the fabric. It's tactile in a way most books aren't anymore. I read it last weekend in front of the fire at our cabin. The book has been out for three years. Paul originally published it in January 2022, and it sold over 60,000 copies. But he recently spent 18 months...
